We let us start.
I was born a long time ago and have 3 brothers, 3 sons and at the moment 3 1/2 grandchildren. My mum died in june 2007 and I miss her dearly, but I am sure that one day (when my time comes) that I will see her again. Understand that this my belief and I don't expect others to be swayed by my beliefs.
Last weekend I went to a beautiful part of Scotland, just in time for the first snows.
I went with my friend who is renting a cottage in Scotland to live the "Good Life". She grows veggies, keeps hens and creates the most fantastic preserves mmmmmmm! As is usual we had to return to the "normal" or is that abnormal world. There was plenty of snow but we arrived home safely.
So Christmas is coming and when mum died I brough home her Christmas Cactus which has not flowered since she went. However, this morning, Christmas eve, I noticed the first of the flowers. It is beautiful.
So now for a rest before it all starts, the preperation for tomorrows feast. All that hard work for one day, but at least we will be all together.
